The Gront

"The Gront" is a semi-mythical alien lifeform supposedly dwelling somewhere in the fleshy "mountains" of Mother Nature on planet Mellonia. Its existence has never been confirmed with absolute certainty, yet every now and then, distressed survivors from destroyed research and hunting parties tell stories of an immortal, blindingly fast monster immune to all weapons and capable of slaughtering heavily armed escort groups in a matter of seconds. Over the years, the Gront has achieved a nearly legendary status, and sometimes hunters of exotic game land on Mellonia and venture into Mother Nature's bosom looking for this seemingly impossible monster. Most return empty-handed. Some don't return at all.
